Rose water Kashan


Kashan is a city in Isfahan Province. Kashan with 247Km distance from Tehran, is the first of the large oases along the Qom-Kerman road which runs along the edge of the central deserts of Iran. Today Kashan is a major center for the production of textiles, rugs and rose water, and a great place to stock up on qualified souvenirs. The most popular time of the year to visit is April, when the fields of rose bushes outside town are in full and fragrant bloom.Discoveries in the Sialk Hillocks reveal that this region was one of the primary centers of civilization in pre-historic ages. The town became famous for its textiles, pottery and tiles and the word for a tile (kashi).
