Bandar Anzali
Bandar-e Anzali is a port in the north of Iran and a seaside resort of the Caspian Sea. The port was renamed to Bandar Pahlavi by Rezashah and it was changed again to Anzali after the Islamic Revolution in Iran. The people of Anzali speak Gilaki and Persian. The city was founded in the early 19th century. The city has around 160,000 population. The city is one of the rainiest regions of Iran.

Anzali Lagoon
Anzali Lagoon which is near to the port of Anzali is a proper place for boat trips and watching migrant birds. The luminous leaves of the Lagoon’s lilies are spread like a green carpet in front of visitors. The lagoon contains diverse specious of animals. There are boats to take a cruise through the lagoon and watch the beautiful landscapes.

The beaches in the shoreline of Anzali receive many tourists specially in holidays. The travelers go to the beach mostly for swimming and also for water sports. The sandy beaches of the Caspian sea are good places for swimming as the sea is mostly calm and the sandy land is very soft that makes it ideal for sun exposure.
Mian Poshte Palace
The palace is built in 1933 and its architecture is similar to the Russian as the city was influenced by Russians. These kinds of buildings were named Kolah Farangi in the Qajar era. The palace was at first controlled by post office; then it was delivered to navy forces and it was changed to a museum after the Iranian Revolution.

Anzali Clock Tower
Anzali Clock Tower was built in 1815 to be an aid to the sailors to navigate toward the city. It had a light at the top until 1929 and the light was replaced to a four-faced clock at that year. The old clock was replaced by a newer one in 1991.
